Adoptable Ferrets
This is a listing of possible adoptable ferrets. Please contact Forever Homes
Wanted Ferret Rescue for an interview to be considered for adoption of a
ferret. Forever Homes Wanted Ferret Rescue reserves the right to interview
and approve possible ferret adopters prior to adoption. There is a $85.00
adoption fee. This is to cover medical care, housing, and food for each ferret
in our care. We will not adopt to minors.
Samantha –
Hi, I am a 5 year old sable female. I like to play hide and seek in tubes and tunnels. I have no special
needs and am cage-mate to Princess. We would really love to find a home willing to spend time with us and
share the joy we can bring.
Princess –
Hello all, I am a 6 1/2 year old black eyed white female. I play and roam like I am a 2 year old and have no
special needs. I have a cage-mate named Samantha. We are the best of friends. We came to rescue
when our original mom started college and no longer had time to share with us. Our rescue mom is hoping
to find us a great home for the rest of our lives.
Old Man Stan -
I am a Butterscotch or Champagne male. I have had a mast cell tumor removed from my back. It was
benign. I am quite elderly and don't really care for the company of other ferrets. They tend to drive me a
little crazy. So, for my forever home I am looking for someone who will just want me to love for as long as
possible.
Kit -
Hi, I am a sterling silver boy. I love to be held and snuggled, just like my cage-mate Ozzie, by my rescue
mom. I have a lot of playful energy that I use when I play with all the other ferrets here at rescue. Ozzie
and I are ready for our forever home.
Ozzie -
Hello, I am a light roan female. I love snuggle, just as my cage-mate Kit said. I am a very quiet ferret that
loves her humans, even more than other ferrets. Kit and I are ready for adoption.
Cosmo -
I am a sable male who came in with Rain and was saved from being left on the side of the road. Upon
visiting the Vet it has been discovered that I have an enlarged prostate and with out medical intervention I
would not have survived. The Vet shortly performed an ultra sound, so that she would know exactly what
needed to be done surgically to help me. I had one large adrenal glad removed and have healed. I lost my
cage mate Rain and am looking for a quiet loving home with humans that will play with me.
Meeko -
Yee Haa!! I am a 2 year old sable boy. I love to play grab mom's ankles then run away. I have a cage
mate named Milo whose ears I suck occasionally. My rescue mom is trying to break that bad habit, but Milo
and I are ready for our new home.
Milo -
Hi. I am a 1 1/2 year old light sable female. I love to romp and play with the best of the ferrets. My
absolute favorite thing to do is catch my human friend Devin and groom his leg hairs. He make such
interesting noises when I do this. The thing that drives me nuts is a squeaker toy, I will lose my mind trying
to find it and kill it. Even with all this I am ready to find a forever home for myself and Meeko.
Zorba –
I am a 2 to 3 year old sable female with no special needs. I rule the roost in my cage with Zodiac. I love to
play, dance, and take flying leaps. Zodiac and I are longing to find our wonderful new home. So that we
can romp, stomp and bring laughter and joy to our forever parents.
Zodiac –
WoooHooo, I am a 2 to 3 year old sable male with silver tips on my hips and no special needs. I have to go
to the same home with Zorba. She is the best cage-mate, but really keeps me in my place. My greatest joy
is to take flying leaps to see what I can grab. I think I have given my rescue mom a couple of heart attacks
or at least caused her blood pressure to sky rocket. Anyway, I would love to find those special persons that
will love and take care of me in a forever home.
